On behalf of the SHPE L.A. Elections Committee, it is my pleasure to notify all interested parties of the upcoming 2010 elections for the following positions;

1. President and Vice-President for two year terms. This position is nominated and elected for by the eligible professional members only.
2. Student Representative, one year term. This position is nominated and elected for by the student members only under the SHPE-LA jurisdiction.

We urge you to participate in this year's elections and help us nominate eligible candidates. Attached you will find the board position descriptions, a candidate nomination form and the nomination submittal instructions.

The elections will be carried out in accordance to the SHPE Greater Los Angles Professional Chapter By-laws, as outlined in the attached elections policy, procedure and timeline.
